TeX Live 2026 - installer packages

This directory contains a network-based installer and packages for TeX Live https://tug.org/texlive/. It is mirrored via CTAN https://ctan.org/.

If you have a complete copy of this directory (for example, via rsync), including the archive/ and tlpkg/ subdirectories, you can run the install-tl (install-tl-windows.bat for Windows) script present here.

The update-tlmgr-latest.sh and .exe archives here are one way to update tlmgr itself, or to recover from tlmgr being completely broken https://tug.org/texlive/tlmgr.html#disaster.

It is not recommended, but as an alternative to this network install, you can use the giant ISO image of the distribution http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/Images/.

This is a mirror of the tlnet directory (minus docs, source, and some platform binaries) from CTAN to Cloudflare Pages, taking advantage of Cloudflare's global network for fast access worldwide. This is not a full CTAN mirror, and only serves as a repository for TeX Live users (including TinyTeX users) to install / update packages via tlmgr after pointing tlmgr option repository to this site.

The site is maintained by Yihui Xie, and automatically generated from the GitHub repo yihui/ctan-tlnet on a daily basis.

TeX Live is developed as a joint effort by all TeX user groups. This site does not modify any files from the tlnet directory, but only syncs a subset of files for TeX Live to function on major platforms. We do not claim copyright on any files hosted on this site.
